CourseMonkey is a student-made platform for exploring course/professor insights and contributing quick feedback. CourseMonkey is not affiliated with or endorsed by any university.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining account credential security.
- You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
- We may suspend or restrict access if we detect abuse, fraud, or violations of these terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use CourseMonkey to violate law or third-party rights.
- Attempt unauthorized access, exploit vulnerabilities, or interfere with platform integrity.
- Run abusive automation, scraping, or bulk extraction that harms service reliability.
- Submit false, malicious, or harassing content through platform inputs.
4. Your Contributions
If you submit responses, reactions, or support content, you grant CourseMonkey a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, adapt, and display that content as needed to operate, improve, and present the service (including aggregated insights).
Do not submit sensitive personal information or content you do not have the right to share.
5. Data and Accuracy Disclaimer
CourseMonkey content is provided for informational and planning purposes. Statistics and rankings are derived from available data and user contributions, may contain errors, and may change over time.
You should verify important academic decisions with official university sources.
6. Intellectual Property
The CourseMonkey service, branding, and software are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
CourseMonkey may contain links or redirects to third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices.
8. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
CourseMonkey currently does not offer real-money purchases; if that changes, additional terms may apply.
9. Warranties and Liability
CourseMonkey is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CourseMonkey and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of law principles.
